VOLUME 154. ISSUE 12 DECEMBER 2011
Christmas Party
The officers want to remind you that our Christmas Banquet is Saturday, December 3rd starting at 6pm. Remember to bring your $25 WRAPED present for gift exchange. The Board has planned for a very exciting and fun evening such as dancing, magic act, and of course a fantastic dinner. If you have not signed the roster for attendance, please call Rick Kalisz or Chuck Stein. Best of all, the evening is free to all Road Kings and wives. Friends and family pay $25.
Dues
Just a reminder, it is time to pay your dues. If you have not paid bring your payment to the Christmas party. They are due by the end of the year.
Membership meeting is still scheduled for December 13th, but Officer’s meeting goes dark in December, so have a safe and prosperous 2012.
Club Picnic
If you weren’t at the picnic, you missed a great time. The food was supplied by Handy Market and was just outstanding. The guys were throwing their balls around trying to out maneuver their competition, and the ladies sat their enjoying the day and wondering when lunch was going to be served.
Mystery Run
What a great time provided by Frank Nay. Of course we all met at the Road King’s donut shop. We proceeded up the 101 meeting the rest of the gang, then paraded to the Murphy Automobile Museum. The museum has a ton of cars either in mint condition or being prepped for refurbishing They have also setup a fantastic miniature train display that is still growing by the day. Following the trip to the museum the foodmeisters stopped at BJ’s in Ventura for lunch. The servers were very accommodating and the food was fantastic. No one I spoke to complained. “Thanks Frank for another great outing”….
Mystery Run “2″ hosted by Don Siglar will take place in January…. more to come at the January meeting.
